About Precision Engineering and Their Engineering History
Precision Engineering Corporation was formed in 1976 by Ryland Sneed, P.S., Lynn Robbins, P.E., P.S., and Darrel Russell, P.E., P.S. Mr. Sneed became president and principal in 1978 and served in that capacity until 2015. Since our founding, Precision Engineering has been intimately involved with much of the growth of Oxford, the University of Mississippi, and the surrounding community.
In 2009, Precision Engineering Corporation made the decision to expand its services to include geotechnical engineering. At that time, Brian Byars, P.E., was recruited to lead the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing departments. In October 2009, we purchased a drill rig to give us the flexibility to perform our own boreholes. Brian Byars has helped to grow our client base significantly in these areas.
In 2014, Paul Koshenina and Patrick Sneed became sole owners, with Ryland Sneed taking on a reduced role in daily activities. Paul Koshenina currently serves as president and CEO. Patrick Sneed serves as Vice President and COO.
Precision Engineering continues to geographically expand its services to include projects in South Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Our engineers are licensed in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas, and our surveyors are licensed in Mississippi and Tennessee.
Precision Engineering has a long history of serving clients in the Mid-South and strives to grow its services with increases in demand. We pride ourselves on providing quality service in a timely manner. This has been instrumental in our growth, as demonstrated by our long-established client base.
